Ensuring Institutional Resilience and Transaction Integrity
CHERRY RAIN recognizes that our role in the debt capital markets necessitates the highest level of operational resilience. Our Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework is designed to ensure the continuous availability of critical services to our issuers, advisors, and insurance partners during events of significant business disruption (SBD).
The mission of our BCM program is to preserve institutional continuity, protect transaction data integrity, and ensure that our technical review and monitoring processes can resume within predefined Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs). Our scope covers all critical business functions, including credit enhancement modeling, regulatory compliance monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
Our strategy is based on the principle of "Distributed Operational Resilience":
In the event of an SBD, our Incident Command System (ICS) is activated. The ICS provides a structured response hierarchy, ensuring that senior management, technical staff, and legal counsel are coordinated. Communication with external stakeholders, including regulators and insurers, is managed through out-of-band secure channels.
The CHERRY RAIN BCM program is not static. We conduct regular stress tests of our failover capabilities, annual table-top exercises for systemic risk scenarios, and bi-annual audits of our RTO/RPO targets. Results are presented to the Board of Directors to ensure alignment with our institutional risk appetite.
